Your pantry inside your AI assistant

Ask Claude or ChatGPT what expires this week, let your assistant put milk on the shopping list, or build your own integrations with the REST API. Smantry stays the place where your stock is kept.

Connect Claude or ChatGPT (MCP)

Smantry speaks the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Your assistant reads and updates your stock, shopping list and recipes, signed in with your own Smantry account.

MCP server address

https://api.smantry.com/mcp
  1. Claude: Settings, Connectors, add a custom connector and enter the address.
  2. ChatGPT: add the address as a connector or app (in developer mode, depending on your plan).
  3. Sign in with your Smantry account and confirm what the assistant may see and change.

What you can ask

  • “What expires in the next seven days?”
  • “I put two packs of oats in the pantry.”
  • “Suggest a dinner from what expires soon.”
  • “Add everything I'm missing for lasagne to the shopping list.”

REST API, smart home and your own projects

At app.smantry.com/developer you create an API token and find the full OpenAPI documentation. People use it for Raspberry Pi barcode stations, fridge displays and automations in Home Assistant or ioBroker.

The limit is 60 requests per minute and person.

What is free?

Reading is always free. Writing works without a subscription too, with the same limit as the app: once a household holds 100 items, adding more needs Premium.

Once the limit is reached, your assistant tells you how to continue. Nothing is lost: consuming, removing and the shopping list keep working. Premium removes the limit.

Your data

Your assistant only sees the areas you allow when signing in, and only your own households. Smantry shows no ads and sells no data.
